Mutton bird recipes

I'm a pig. I just boil it in a pot and wolf it down. Or if I'm feeling super disciplined I'll boil some puha or watercress with it.

Anyone have any other recipes for Mutton Bird!

I boil mine (but not enough to de-fat them) with a slice lemon and then free flow freeze them. To eat I put them under the griller in the oven - love the burnt bits LOL

I know right. Eat it whole. So delicious.

I was hoping to get some other recipes that might stretch the bird out since my kids have decided THEY like Mutton too. lol.

man i reckon they are hideous,my hubby loves them,he boils them outside on the gas cooker,lol.mind you then he brings them inside and puts them in the oven.
