Jasmine rice in Thai.

I was just curious as to how Thai people do their rice. It always tastes really good at Thai restaurants compared to just cooking jasmine rice in a rice cooker at home. Do they add the jasmine themselves! Or is there some other secret seasoning/herb they add!

You can cook the rice inCoconut milk and that is delicious. Naughty but nice

Most resturants cook in rice cooker too, I think though as they do very big batches and hold for a while it does come out better. You could try cooking well ahead of time and holding it in the cooker a little longer.
