Cant find this in my cook book but saw it when i was in town today at a book shop. Does anyone have a recipe forpeanut shortcake please.

Peanut Shortcake 125grams butter, 125 grams sugar, 2 egg yolks, 225 grams flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder. cream butter and sugar, add egg yolks. Add sifted flour and baking powder. Roll out approximately 1/2 inch thick and place on a greased tray. Spread with the following mixture. Topping 175 grams roasted peanuts, 2/3 cup of sugar, 75 grams dark chocolate, 2 egg whites unbeaten. Melt chocolate in a saucepan and add remainer of ingredients. Stir until mixture boils then spread over shortcake. Bake 30 minutes at 180 celcius. Cut while hot. I hope this is what you are looking for. It is out of the edmonds book. Enjoy.
