What are some savory toast topping ideas please! Never really been one for eating toast, and it would be convenient at times when I need to have something but don't have alot of time, but I have no idea what I'd want to have on it. Don't likes jams, maramlades.

melt cheese in the microwave then spread on top. Can put vegemite/marmite under the cheese or some grated onion.

Mousetraps, grate cheese add egg, bit mustard powder, bit of Worcestershire sauce, chopped bacon, little chopped tomato, finely chopped onion, mix well together. Grill on bread that has been toasted on one side under the grill put topping on uncooked side. Don't have too high in the oven. I break the top up when it is partly cooked to let the heat go in more to cook the inside more. When well browned lock the doors and scoff it all yourself.

I grill on toast, mushrooms, tomato and cheese.yummmmm. Hubby does luncheon, sauce and cheese. Yuk!
LIte cream cheese and sliced gherkin, sliced banana, sliced avocado wit lemon, slat and peper, pate, beetroot relish.

Cream cheese (add tomato/marmite) Hummus (add tomato) Sliced cheese (add tomato/marmite) Cottage cheese (add tomato/chopped chives) Avocado (add marmite or my fav sweet chilli sauce) Tuna(add cream cheese/mayo/tomato/sweet chilli sauce) Salmon Sardines Peanut butter (especially on vogels toast) I also like cream cheese or cheese slices with jam on toast but not savoury obviously.
