Have brought the wrong yeast:( .Could someone please tell me if its ok to use this yeastin my bread maker as I cant afford to waste all the other ingredients if its not going to work.I usually buy bread maker yeast and use 2.5 tsp for 3 cups flour.
Thank you everyone

I preferred using active dried yeast in my bread maker. I just put yeast in the water with the sugar and left till frothy (as you would if amking by hand) thenadd the rest of hte ingredients and continued as the recipe instructed. (Actually when using the breadmaker yeast I started doing the same thing with that too as I found it worked better)

Oh and for 3 cups of flour I would use about 1 1/2 teaspoons of the active dried yeast. (Usually use half the amount of normal yeast than the bread maker yeast so you could probably useabout 1 1/4 teaspoons active yeast )

Once all the ingredients have been added it will continue as usual on any cycle. (the only difference is just preparing theyeast before hand instead of adding it with the flour.)
