White Mud Cake.Makes a nice deep 20cm round cake, but you will have to increase the recipe to make a larger cake.
Beautiful cutting texture, sweet flavour. I have stirred through a handful of frozen berries just before baking, delicious.

150g white choc buttons.
250g soft butter
2cups caster sugar
1cup (slightly warm) milk
few drops vanilla ess
2 (room temp) eggs
1 & 1/2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup SR flour.
Pinch of salt

melt choc
Cream butter & sugar
beat eggs with vanilla & milk.Mix together & FOLD in flours & salt.

Bake about an hour at 150 C.

Chicco2, your cake does look very impressive, my white choc mud cake recipe does tend to be a bit dry so might try yours, thanks alot.

I would go looking for a recipe which is better on the second or third day. So it keeps well.

Enjoy!

You are right duckmoon. The above recipe that I use, does keep well. I usually bake on a Wed or Thurs for wedding cakes on the Sat. It is lovely.
