Sausage Rolls

Can anyone please give me a recipe on how to make sausage rolls frm scratch please

puff pastry ready rolled sheets, sausage meat, bread ripped into peices and soaked in water, onion, salt and pepper, ( optional mixed herbs) mix sausage meat and bread etc all together then put that mix into a big plastic bag, cut the corner and pipe it onto the pastry, along one edge of this paint pastry with egg and water, roll pastry over onto edge, slice the top of pastry and cut whatever length sausage roll you want, bake 180 degrees till cooked about 15-20 mins.

I always use a flakey puff pastry. The filling I do is sausage meat, diced onion, 1 apple, grated, a little sage and thyme ( dried) fresh breadcrumbs ( this stops the filling oozing out of the casing) salt and pepper to taste and one beaten egg. The apple takes the richness out of the sausage meat.
