Frozen pork roast HELP

jussa, Jan 1, 1:51am
its still in freezer. have only just decided this is what i feel like making for dinner.'
is it going to make much difference if i dont defrost it first!
can i just chuck it in oven !

Can't you defrost it in the microwave.I think it would be a big dodgy to cook a frozen pork roast especially if it still has the bone in as the meat closest to the bone cooks last in a conventional oven.

We had pork chops last night, and as I had a bottle of Feijoa vinegar near by, I deglazed the pan with that, It was delish.

i've just done exactly what you were asking about and plenty of times before.
So I hope you put it on. Just don't add any water and maybe for the last 3/4 hour cook without the lid on.In 30 odd years of cooking roasts of every kind i'm pretty certain I have never poisoned anyone and I cook a mean roast. I hope you enjoy your roast.

nah, just cook it longer.

I think beef is better cooked from frozen but that is because I like the centre to be rare.I am a bit warier about pork though.
