I am making toadies rice salad,but supermarket did not have any light soy sauce so I bought Golden, will I still need 1/4 cup, orshould I use less. am not famllia with any soy sauce, but thinking that golden would be stronger than light. Grateful for any replies

Golden is the same as light.However there is also a brand called "Golden Boy", which makes light and dark.I don't think it will matter to much in that salad, just bear in mind that light soy sauce is a bit saltier than dark, so adjust salt levels accordingly.
