(3) Mix to a stiff dough, adding more flour as needed, and form into 2equal-sized logs, long enough to just fit lengthwise on a large aluminium tray. Line the tray with baking paper, put the logs on top and bake 1 hour at 160 C or until firm and pale brown.
(4) Leave to cool 5 minutes, then separate the logs carefully with a serrated knife and slice each in 1cm slices while still warm. Arrange slices, slightly apart, on aluminium trays lined with baking paper. Bake 10 minutes at 160 c or until dry and pale gold.
