Stupid maybe but.I just bought a smoked ham for Xmas then thought, duh, can I freeze it! 10 days in the fridge is too much, will it go off!

I bought my Christmas ham on 4 December, it's been in the fridge since then and the best before date on it is 16 January 2012 so I wouldn't worry about freezing yours unless the best before date is within the next few days.

As long as you don't open it , it will fine in the vac pac.
