Can you freeze cooked pasta which has been made into a salad. Thanks

keysie, I guess it depends on the type of pasta salad as to how successful this would be - I have successfully frozen leftover pasta salad but it was a pasta salad with minimal added salad type vegetables and no added meat, fish or eggs.It had a dressing that was based on tomato pasta sauce so when it was thawed I heated the salad and served it just like macaroni cheese with a tomato-based sauce.
