Some people have self-control leading up to Christmas- or they give them all away;)

They are gorgeous.Your biscuits look like they cut beautifully. What recipe do you use!I don't know if it's the butter these days but I tried to make some the other day with a recipe I have used for years and it was so crumbly.

chicco2, Dec 7, 12:23am
Thanks maynard. It is a shortbread recipe that uses custard powder instead of cornflour, this gives it a lovely vanilla taste. I did chill it for a few mins before turning out on the board. Check your butter packet, as some contain water as an ingredient, this may have affected your dough.
250g room temp butter
3/4 cup icing sugar.
1/2 cup custard powder.
1& 1/2 cups flour. Pinch salt.

Beat butter & icing sug together and fold in flour, salt & custard powder.

Gosh ! You could package them up and sell them they look so good .
I for one like nothing more than a boutique handmade gift.
