2kg Topside Roast- how long would you cook it for!

2-2½ hours at 160C depends if you want it well cooked or pink.
Make sure you cover it as Topside has a tendency to dry out.

cover with oil. roll in fine chopped herbs and peppercorns.rosemary or thyme is good. sit on a bed of rosemary sprigs.wind up heat to 220.Put roast in for 20 mins. turn down to 160 for 40 mins. turn OFF oven leaving door closed and not opening. leave in heat to rest while you dish up side dishes. check inner temp is about 71.and when sliced juices run clear.serve for a nice pinky med meat.

I've got it in an oven bag- waiting to pop in the oven.

Cooking it to take to Mum and Dad's so they can have cold meat for meals during the week.
My week to cook for them :)

Wont be able to check inner temp tho Fisher.no thermometer
