Help with jam!

Have just made some strawberry and rhubarb jam and have boiled it for as long as the recipe says but it's still all lumpy, do i need to blend it before i put it in jars!

interesting looking recipe, if you are worried I'd mash it a bit with a potato masher, a few lumps make it look homemade and will easily squish when they come out of the jars onto toast etc.

ok my recipe is different in that I cook the rhubarb and strawberries or other fruit first until soft and mushy. mash if need to but don't usually.
Then while still boiling add sugar and lemon juice. Continue at a rolling boil about 10mins for rhubarb until a little tessted will set.

If you don't want lumps or feel the rhubarb not cooked down enough just cook a little longer and or mash.
The Jell-O is basically gelatine to help it set which you shouldn't need whe you use rhubarb.
