preserving beetroot 3 2 1 recipie please

Is it 3 c vinegar, 2 c water and 1 cup sugar? ? Beetroot will be read in about 15 mins and cannot fine my recipie. Thanks

Hi - my recipe is 1 cup of the strained liquid the beetroot is cooked in, 1 cup vinegar and 1/2 c sugar - I usually reduce that to use about 1/3c sugar.
