Have made three cakes one with baking paper and the others with a silicone container which I placed in my baking tin. Great results

yep. I cut up my silicon muffin tray, I now use the silicone cups individually in my muffin tin as non stick liners and it works brilliantly. The non stick of silicone, and the even heat transference of the metal.

What a great idea,especially as my muffin pans are starting to stick .What a saving on baking paper and paper cases. Thank you.
