Easy mussel chowder with Campbells soup base

A friend gave me some mussels told me to use Campbells Leek and Potato soup as a base for mussel chowder, so I have two cans of soup and friend is missing in action. I have shelled the steamed mussels and also bought some cooked prawns to add to it.

So what next! I'm thinking of chopping the mussels and adding the prawns into the hot soup, maybe adding some fresh coriander! What else shall I add! Chooped red onion!

Any ideas welcome.

Personally I would keep those campbells soups and give it to your friend when she turns up next.

I would then fry some onions and add tomatoes, basil and parsley, some garlic and chilli and then throw the mussels and prawns into that.

Serve with a salad and if you are into eating bread then serve some nice crusty fresh bread with it to mop up the juices.
