If you find it too sweet add some lemon juice. It will make a lovely jelly.

My mother used to save all fruit juices heat it up and add gelatin to make a lovely jelly

freeze it in your ice cube tray. Then when you want to use cut apple or bananas, to stop them going brown just defrost a couple of cubes and dip the slices in. Great in fresh fruit salads. can be used also to make glazes on food, or added to icings. Pineapple juice is an asset in the kitchen, I never waste it.
