Coconut bread

My mother had a reciepe for coconut bread (I dont think it was loaf).It was mainly coconut from memory and really tasty.Im just wondering if anyone has the recipe!

This is an oldie. not quite a bread though but is a basic coconut loaf.

Coconut Loaf

1 cup flour
1 cup coconut
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt and
1/2 cup milk.
Mix all together and bake in loaf tin 45 minutes at 180 `c.

Alternatively, just add a cup at least of coconut to any good bread recipe.
And instead of 100% water, do a dilute mixture of so much water and so much coconut milk or cream to same equivalent volume as is if for water only, perhaps 50 - 50, or 60% coconut milk-cream to 40% water, remembering that water is required with sugar to activate the yeast.

Just thinking. but hopes it helps.

Editing to add that one does experiment but using a breadmaker machine.
