Am making a lemon slice that uses eggs, sugar and lemon for the filling; can I use 5 normal sized eggs (size 6 I think) instead of 4 large!Don't want to buy a whole box just for this recipe.Not sure how much of a difference it will make, am a sporadic baker who needs to follow recipes pretty closely :-Pthanks!

I would use 6, 1 extra egg for every 2 needed

That would be worked out on the assumption that 2 large eggs is equal to 3 medium ones or that one large egg is equal to one and a half medium ones. I doubt there would be that much difference.I'd use 5 mediums.
