Easy rice pudding recipe needed

Hi want to make rice pudding for my 8 month old, but the edmonds one takes ages, it has to have no egg so any suggestions would be awesome.

Buy a can of rice pudding... . rice dose take ages to cook, if you want it nice and creamy...

What about this one from Recipezaar?

Dairy Free Coconut Rice Pudding
25 min | 5 min prep

It will thicken as it cools and may need to be thinned a little with water or more coconut milk.
SERVES 6

Ingredients:

1/2 cup basmati rice, rinsed
2 cups light coconut milk
2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
1. Combine rice, coconut milk, water and sugar in saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 min, stirring occasionally.
3. Take off heat, add cinnamon and vanilla.
4. Enjoy warm or chilled.

I do mine in the microwave on the "risotto or rice/pasta" setting.
1litre of milk (you could use your baby formula. )
125g medium grain rice.
Put in deep dish, cover (I use glad wrap) and cook. Stir now and then.

Nice sprinkled with sugar mixed with cinnamon.

will baby formula cook like that ? ? ? ? ? I would probably just use baby rice , and introduce boiled whole grain rice , for the texture . .

the most common recipe for rice pudd for babies is to take 1 cupof cooked rice and 1 cups of milk, 1/4 tsp of vanilla essence, 1-2 tbsp of castor sugar... pop all into a pot and heat gently for 10mins if you dont want to add sugar substitute with a mashed banana or some apple puree to sweeten...
