Has anyone done a Cooking course!

I would just love to do one. I've always enjoyed dabbling in the kitchen; following recipes and trying different things. I always get a huge kick out of poring over recipe books (of which I have a gazillion - bordering on a fetish!) but would love to learn properly. There are a couple of courses available at the local Cromwell Polytech that I'm thinking about - but would have to be part-time, sadly, two days a week.

Me and my daughter did MAIN COURSE in Auckland, it was awesome! You watch the chef cook a3 course meal, whilst taking notes. then break into groups of 4 and then re-make the 3 courses! At the end you all sit at the table with your drinks and eat what you have made.
They do all types of cuisines, italian, fine dining, quick and easy, etc

Sounds fabulous. Maybe Mr Mazzy could spring for a trip to an authentic Italian kitchen sometime - in Italy!
