I have been throwing chia seeds in all my bread lately - family love it

2 cups boiling water, 4 tsp honey, 2 cups cold water, 7tsp yeast granules.2 & 3/4 cups highgrade white flour,same of wholemeal flour, 3 tsps salt, 2 cups sunflower seeds, 4 tbs pumpkin seeds.
Method:-
ln a large bowl mix the boiling water and honey to dissolve.
ADD the cold water and yeast and put to one side for 10 minutes
Whisk the yeast mix then add whiteandwholemeal flour , salt, and sunflower seeds and mix with a large spoon until combined (mix will be a loose wet battter)
Divide mix between tins spread evenly and flatten the top. Sprinkle 2 tbs
pumpin seeedsover each loaf,run a sharp knife thru the top of each loafin at least 4 places so it rises evenly.
Bake 20 minsat 80deg Cturn up oven to 210 deg Cand bake for a further 30 - 40 mins.The loaves will sound hollow when tapped
PSPre heat oven to 80oCand grease 2 loaf pans
tastes very much like Vogels .l also added 1 cup of Linseed

thanks for this rozke, i have a question re: rising time after you have it in the tins! does the 80oc at 20 min do the job for you!
i cant wait to try this sounds easy and yummy.

yes the rising is in the 80deg. l only had 1 tin and left the mix in a smaller bowl went into lounge for 20 mins when l came back the small bowl had overflowed .l had left in on the bench and of course the sun came round the back of the house.

If you took out the 2 cups of sunflowers seeds, what would you replace it with!
