Help, amateur cook making first ever quiche with

egree, Sep 11, 4:37am
flaky puff pastry. Do I need to 'blind bake' the pastry first!
How many sheets do I use!
Do I put my fillings into the mixed egg then pour it all in!
Should I use a tin or glass dish!

No need to blind bake.
Just use enough pastry to cover your dish, and up the sides.
Yep, mix it all together with the egg and pour in. Top with a bit of grated cheese.
I would use the metal dish.

Good luck, I'm sure it will be yummy.

You could save the pastry and make this recipe, easy as and nice.

Quiche , crust-less
I usually make a quiche using the left over food out of the fridge adding a can of salmon.use cooked veg.squeeze the juice from the spinach.Arrange the veg and fish over a greased quiche dish.
In a bowl, whisk
1\2 cup flour, 1\2 tsp baking powder,1 tsp salt,
1\2 tsp pepper, 4 eggs, 2 cups of milk, 75 grams of melted butter.
pour over veges.
sprinkle over 1 cup of grated cheese.
Bake in a moderate oven for 45 minutes.

put your grated cheese on the bottom, then pour the egg mix over, give a firmer crust to cut.
