Rice pudding for lunch

does anyone have a good recipe for rice pudding than can be eaten cold! thinking of putting some in a little container for my kids lunchboxes.

Will they eat it cold!
Edmonds recipe
600ml mil milk
2TBSPs rice
25grsugar
Vanilla essence
Cocoa (opt)\
Put all in a dish & bake at least2 hrs @ 120 - 150.

You could make layered ones for treats with Jellie in them as wellSome of the old fashion pudding like 'spanish cream' out of the good old edmonds cook book.

add some cocoa to make choco rice! I used to make custard and add cocoa and sent that with them to school. Cheaper that dairy food!

Be careful with rice, it grows Listeria bacteria really fast.

freeze it in warmer months in small containers. By lunchtime its all good to eat:)

Thanks all. Yes they do eat it cold, will make a change with jellies and yoghurt.
