How long after best befopre would you use cream!

have 1/2 bottle in fridge, best before 5th sept. smells fine. could i use it for scones.

I use the sniff test too. Sometimes Im tempted to use it in recipes that calls for cream fraiche.as its such a waste to throw it out

korbo, as pickles7 said "perfect for the job" and even if the cream has started to sour it will still be perfect for scones, just so long as it hasn't started to go off/discolour or spoil beyond you feeling comfortable about using it.Cream makes lovely scones.:-))
