Hiya does anyone have a recipe that doesnt have bacon in it. I had a salad at the working mans club and it was so yummy i wanna try making it myself. I should of took more notice while i was there (lol)

I cut up my raw broccoli very small, add cherry tomatoes, peppers, red onion, whatever you like really and toss it with a chilly dressing or sauce. Also nice with a cooked chicken sliced up in it as well. Yummo.

I personally do not like raw broccoli, or cauli, I blanch it and refresh it. Broccoli and toasted sesame seeds are very nice, a little oil, lemon zest and juice. I have moved on from mixing more than four ingredients into one salad. I often set up a tray of five or six different salads.

Hi This is My Fav I always get asked for this recipe when i take it somewhere
Broccoli Salad 2 heads broccoli - the small florets (no stalk) 1 med red onion (diced small) 1/2 cup raisins 10-12 rashers streaky bacon cooked ans cut up small 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or pinenuts (roasted) (I used 1/4 cup of each and didn't bother roasting) Dressing 1 cup Mayo (Heinz "seriously good" is best) 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar 2 teaspoons sugar mix together
Put altogether a few hours before needed
