If you could share a recipe with me that I can make to take for a shared meal tonight that would be great! I don't have the time to make it and try it first so hoping for a sure fire winner :)

Fresh fruit salad.

Yes I could do fruit salad but it's still pretty cold at nights down South so hoping for some thing warm or at least a cake :)

I have some great gluten free ones, but they have either butter or buttermilk etc in them.

You could do a nice fruit crumble with a nutty topping.

thanks for the recipes and ideas everyone
davidt - I made the orange cake and it was absolutely delicious - have just given the lady the rest of it to take her for herself and she loved it!
I only simmered the oranges for about 30 mins as I was so pressed for time and only baked it for 55 mins as it was well done by then in my oven.I also boiled togeter a wee bit of caster sugar and orange juice and drizzled it over top once out of the oven.
So thanks again for taking the time to post the recipe - it was a winner!
