This is hand written recipe I have had for nearly 35 years. Apricot/ custard / meriqune pudding Melt 50 gms butter add 1/4 cp custard pdr Stir in 1 & 1/2 cps of milk Gently bring to boil, while stirring mixture.Simmer for 2 mins. add juice from a 425g tin of apricot halves & yolks of 2 eggs. Combine well. Beat the 2 egg whites with 2 Tbspns of water until stiff beat in a 1/4 cp of sugar Place apricots in the bottom of a greased dish. Pour over the custard & pile the meriqune mixture over the custard. Bake at 180 * C for 15 - 20 mins. This is so yummy & it always goes down a treat

In the same exercise book as the one above I also have a 2 custard tart recpes but I have never made them.
