I got told it has a high smoking point, so is good for stirfrys.Other than that, no idea!

The oil, has no cholesterol.

Do you mean the oil or the rice bran itself?? Rice bran oil contains plant sterols which are supposed to help with high cholesterol. I use the oil for cooking and baking and add it to butter to make a spread which I also use for baking etc.
The Rice bran itself, I add to muesli, cereals, pancakes and my porridge.Also add it to cakes,biscuits, scones and bread that I make too.
