When will the Kitchenaid stick blender be in the shops in New Zealand, I thought you would be a good person to ask. Are the colour options just white and red.
Thanks if you can help :-)

I have a question too: Are kitchenaid mixers strong enough to knead bread? Or better off with a commercial standard one?

KitchenAid makes bread, dough and pastries; fresh pasta; ice-cream; sausages, salami and grinds/grates/peels etc

More or Less:
Peter Mcinnes is the only agent for Aust; NZ; and some Asian countries.

You'll have to ring their NZ 0800 881 200 to find out when the stick blender will reach our markets.
You'll then be directed to one of their Agents to order one: Kirkcaldis and Stains in WLG; The Homestore or Millys etc in AKL. Peter McInnes won't sell to you direct.
Hope this helps ;-)

Thanks shop-a-holic, I have already checked and apparently they are here but not many stores have them out yet, so just wondered if you had seen them anywhere, expect they cant be far away though. Thanks

there's a shop in queens arcade in the city

They have kitchen aid mnixers, the best price he could offer me was $950 and there's another model with mixer bowl guards that cost extra $200-300, has extra power (I think 45watts more), but has 3 year warranthy instead of 5years.

Deus I have the mixer already, I have the commercial KPM50, its great.

Shop-a-holic I saw the stick blenders today at the Homestore. Suprisingly bigger than a expected and reasonable heavy too, they were either $164 or $169, and come in red or white only.
