Baking Soda/ Cream of Tartar question

Can I make this mixture in advance and keep it as "Baking Powder" or does it need to be made fresh each time. Thanks

I make about half cups worth at a time, never had a problem. I keep it in a small tupperware container to keep it fresh:-)
