I need a basic recipe for coconut macaroons.I prefer to test trusted and tried ones over some I just find on google.It would be my first go at making them as well.

Mine is at the bottom of this post - feel free to ignore the macaron/macaroon rant at the beginning if you only care about the recipe. The size of your eggs can mean they can be a bit dry - add part or all of an extra egg white if you need to. :-)
