the bread just lay in the bottom like a brick,yeast is ok,but I did notice the paddle seemed to be labouring like a car with a nearly flat battery? it made beautifull bread untill now...it is a sd251,thanks for any suggestion.

I had that happen recently. Turned out that the paddle hadn't connected properly at the bottom, was loose sort of sitting part way up. A bit hard to explain but when you go to make next loaf(try a pizza dough) make sure the pan is pushed down firmly onto the turning device at bottom.
