I am desperately looking for a recipe for the above. Eggless, dairy free...and without vegan margarine...oil is fine.I want to use fresh pears, not canned. I have been googling but they all call for things I don't have (agave nectar etc) and I don't want to go getting! Just simple, normal baking ingredients (minus eggs and dairy lol)..
I don't know about substituing this or that so wouldn't really know how to tweak a 'normal' recipe...
Please please, if someone can help urgently for me, I would be very greatful!

There is a recipe for Peach Upside Down Cake on the Fat Free Vegan site which I think would be easily adapted to use pears.
