At our soccer club we normally do something like a big shepherds pie with bread, curried sausages or sausages in onion gravy, serve with a bit of rice or spuds. We buy sauages at 75 for around $16 so goes a long way. Another good 1 is fish pie, or macaroni chese. We usually serve a good portion on an entree sized plate.
