havent you got any jars in fridge of pickled onions etc, you could pinch abit of vinegar from them.

nooooooo i threw out that jar last week when the fridge died, all i have is about 3 tbspn malt vinegar - would that work?

Malt vinegar is fine and you could make up the volume with lemon juice.

haha don't have a handy next door neighbour but ended up doing the 10in trip to dads house cos he had a courier parcel there for me so pinched some from him, so yahhhhhhhhh mustard sauce for tea
