mince, onions, carrots (mixed vege), tomato sauce, worchester sauce, soya sauce, relish or pickle or both, I mix this all with curry powder about a dessertspoon full, and mix it through the mince and then add water, stir just cover the mince with water, cook for awhile 3/4 of an hour, you can also cube up potato, kumera and pumpkin, then thicken it with some flour and water mixed together. She may also have put a tsp of sugar.

Whatever you choose to add, take time to brown the mince and break it up first, its worth the few minutes it takes in terms of flavour and texture.
