URGENTLY WANTED A BEEF CURRY CROCK POT RECIPE

going to a pot luck dinner tomorrow nite and would like to take a nice curry.

BEEF MADRAS-this is yummo and you need a food processor.

1 onion and 4 to 6 cloves garlic, chopped and sauteed,
add a chopped 1" piece of fresh ginger or 1 tsp powdered,
add 1 tin tomatoes,
3 tsp cumin,
1 tsp coriander,
1 tsp turmeric,
1/2 or more to taste tsp chilli powder,
1 tsp salt,
1 tsp garam masala,

heat thru until really hot, put thru the food processor until pureed,
and add to browned beef and simmer until beef is tender, or shove it in the crockpot.
add a bit of yoghurt before serving if you want.

I do one in the slowcooker and use McCormicks Mild Beef Indian Curry Sachet and I add a can of lite coconut cream, diced beef and diced kumara, then before serving I add spinach...yummo

This is yummy...

Beef & Butter Curry
500 gr cubed steak
1 tsp ginger
4 tsp garlic
2 med onions chopped
50 gr butter
1tsp cardamom
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp chilli paste
2 tsp garam masala
2 tabs tomato paste
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 tsp brown sugar
salt to taste
Place all ingreds into crock pot, stirring everything through. Set on low or high & leave till cooked. May need to thicken with a little corn flour at the end of cooking.
