Has anyone ever made a fire truck cake for their child. Any tips??

You can often hire tins shaped like trucks,trains etc. I used to do these many years ago using a plain butter cake recipe and then piping stars on the top,following the pattern of the article and using different colours etc.

A bit like this one below, but with stars piped, instead of like this one, but this will give you an idea of what I mean
