Have made before but can't remember quantities etc could someone help out thanks dont want to mess upmany thanks

Cut gooseberries in 1/2, scoop out pulp. Cover bottom of pan with water. Add fruit till cooked. Add 12ozs sugar to every 1lb pulp. Boil till set
or
4&1/2lb pulp, equal quantities sugar, juice & grated rind of 8 sweet oranges

mines 1.5kg peeled and chopped kiwifruit, cook until mush
add 1.25kg sugar, a box of chopped crystalised ginger or 1 good teaspoon ground ginger and the juice of 1 lemon.
bring back to boil and boil until some tested shows setting. bottle and seal
