Sugar alternatives - does anyone bake

I have not tried baking with sucaryl but apparently you get a bitter taste. But in saying that I make muffins with sucaryl and they are okay.i always add sucaryl to stewed fruit but only after its cooked.

We bake with Xylitol - much, much better than Splenda, plus it's a natural product with low carbs and low calories.

muffins you can use pineapple, honey & dates etc to sweeten them without sugar or fake sugar as that stuff is expensive

Yeah I agree with whitewolf, dates especially are brilliant, I pulse them up with oats, nuts butter etc for crumble topping, sooo good!

I brought fresh dates the other day, they are super sweet.Dates really are natures' candy, and you get a lot of nutrience from them too.

I'll have to try the date crumble topping sounds good.
