Cooking chocolate...

korbo, Apr 22, 5:15am
Just decided today as all this talk with best before and useby, to check some items in my pantry.
Found a cake of cooking chocolate, still all sealed, but had oct 09 as best before.
i have unwrapped the foil, and it is still dark, showing absolutly no signs of that whitish look at all. tasted a small square, and it was fine.
Would you use it to melt and put on top of a cake...

Definitely - would even eat it if it had the white-ish look - that does you no harm at all.
