ra-vyn, Apr 1, 6:07am
Has anyone ever heard of a savoury muffin recipe with cream of chicken soup as a ingredient. I used to have the recipe but lost it and the muffins were so nice. I know its a long shot but thought I would ask on here.

Hi, someone have a muffin recipe for canned chicken & corn soup?

I did eat these in a cafe in Australia sprinkled in grated cheese & baked.

im not sure if it was from a maggi book. my mum had it written in one of her books so i have no idea where it originated from but she accidentally threw out the book before all the recipes were copied (the muffin one being one of them)

ra-vyn, I have looked through my Maggi books without success but in my vast collection of recipes (books, cuttings, etc.) I have found a couple of muffin recipes using packeted soup that are very similar to each other - will post those asap.

janny3, have a look at:-

http://www.foodinaminute.co.nz/Recipes/Souper-Muffins

The recipe on that link actually states 1 x 535g can Wattie's Big n' Hearty Soup Corn & Bacon Chowder but IMO there's no reason why chicken and corn soup couldn't be substituted.

Hope that helps.:-))
