Has anyone tried making those mini mushroom savouries? Would you make up a creamy sauce with the mushrooms in?

Yep ones made with a flakey pastry, & sort of a mushroom cream filling, quite simple but absolutley divine!

Do you mean like a vol a vent? Definitely make a creamy white sauce *from a roux* and then add the mushrooms to that.
