Depends what you're making & what you're serving them w/

Seasoning meat w/ 50/50 Salt & Chinese 5-spice before cooking any good?

my mother in law always marinades and then cooks them in a sauce made really easily ... a couple of tbsps brown sugar, a few big slugs of worchestershire sauce and a big squirt of tomato sauce. The kids love them as they go all sweet and caramelised!!

Should have been
honey, brown sugar, sweet chilli sauce or tomato, minced garlic, soy sauce a little bit of hot water mix all together, put pork strips in so they are coated well, into oven tray pour over any left over marinade and cook at about 150 till yummy, you will need to turn them over a few times.
